Stella Lefty’s net worth is estimated at $3 million as of October 2026, a figure built almost entirely in a single year. The Illinois-raised singer-songwriter went from posting piano clips on TikTok to a No. 2 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Boston,” a No. 1 at country radio, and a debut album, Long Way Home, that reached No. 11 on the Billboard 200. Our estimate covers her own earnings only. It does not count the fortune of her father, Groupon co-founder Eric Lefkofsky.
Published estimates for Stella Lefty are thin and mostly out of date, because her career moved faster than the sites that track it. No major outlet has reported what she earns, so we built the number from the ground up: her label deal, royalties on hundreds of millions of streams, airplay, touring and placements. The Radar Readout below shows each piece of the working, with a likely range of $1.5 million to $6 million.

Sources and how we estimated this
We start from a modest pre-breakout figure for an independent artist who toured as an opening act, then add what she most likely kept in 2026 from her Atlantic Outpost deal, royalties on more than 486 million worldwide streams of Boston, airplay, and a club and festival touring year. Every lane is shown after commissions, costs and tax. Family wealth is not counted. How we fact-check

How Stella Lefty’s $3 Million Net Worth Is Built
Each line below is what we think she kept after managers, agents, label recoupment, touring costs and tax, not the gross money her music generated. The central values add up to $3 million.
| Income lane | Central estimate | Likely range |
|---|---|---|
| Starting fortune, end of 2025 | $500,000 | $250,000 to $1 million |
| Atlantic Outpost deal and record royalties | $1.2 million | $600,000 to $2.5 million |

| Total | $3 million | $1.5 million to $6 million |
The widest line is the label deal. Terms of her Atlantic Outpost contract have not been reported, and the size of any advance, and how much of it has been earned back, moves the total more than anything else.
From TikTok Clips to Atlantic Outpost
Stella Lefty is the stage name of Stella Lefkofsky. She grew up in Glencoe, a village north of Chicago, attended New Trier High School and enrolled at Tulane University in 2020 to study public health, with no plan to make music a career. She has said she started writing songs at around age 5, and she began posting early songs on TikTok while studying abroad in Amsterdam.
After graduating in 2024 she moved to Los Angeles and started releasing music independently, beginning with the single “Kiss Me.” Her debut EP, Tragic, Really, followed on July 15, 2025, as an independent release. She spent 2025 building a live audience as an opening act, including tours with Alessi Rose and Jessie Murph, the second of which took her to theaters across Australia in November 2025.
That early period is why our starting figure is modest. Independent releases and support slots rarely leave a new artist with much money once travel, band and production costs are paid, so we start her at about $500,000 at the end of 2025, with a range of $250,000 to $1 million.
The turn came in early 2026. “Thinking ’bout You,” co-written with Grace Enger and Sadie Jean, arrived in January and passed 15 million streams. In February her song “The Kill” was featured in Scream 7, and shortly afterward she signed with Atlantic Outpost, the country imprint of Atlantic Records.
“Boston”: The Song That Built the Fortune
“Boston” was released on March 27, 2026, after a snippet of the chorus went viral on TikTok. She has said she wrote that chorus at a piano in about 15 minutes during a Nashville writing trip, about a crush who lived there. That crush was singer-songwriter Vincent Mason, whom she now dates.
The song debuted at No. 95 on the Billboard Hot 100 in April. Billboard reported it had climbed to No. 3 in the first week of August, and it later peaked at No. 2. At country radio it went all the way: “Boston” reached No. 1 on both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase charts 22 weeks after impacting radio, the fastest debut single by a solo female artist to top the country charts in more than 20 years, and Atlantic Outpost’s first country radio No. 1. By late September it had passed 486 million streams worldwide, and it is certified Gold in Australia.
There is one complication for her royalty income. “Boston” interpolates Noah Kahan’s “Stick Season,” and after the clip took off, Kahan’s team raised the resemblance. Lefty gave him a writing credit before the official release, saying she did not want to step on anybody’s toes. The split has not been disclosed, but it means part of the song’s publishing money goes to Kahan’s side, which is why our songwriting line is lower than the song’s size might suggest.
What “Boston” is likely worth to her
Our model uses common industry rates rather than reported numbers. Streaming services pay rights holders very roughly a third of a cent per stream for the recording, and a new artist on a major label typically receives a royalty share of that only after her advance is recouped. Songwriters and publishers earn a separate, smaller slice per stream, plus performance royalties from radio, which matter a lot for a song that topped country airplay. Spread across “Boston,” her other singles and the album, and after her co-writers’ shares, commissions and tax, we put her kept recording income at about $1.2 million and her songwriting and radio income at about $600,000.
Is This Heaven? and Long Way Home
Atlantic Outpost released her EP Is This Heaven? on May 15, 2026. It reached the top 40 of the Billboard 200 and the top 10 of Top Country Albums. “I Know I Know” became the next song to spread on TikTok, and “Something to Lose,” a duet with Vincent Mason, reached the Hot 100 top 40.
Her debut album, Long Way Home, arrived on August 21, 2026. It peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard 200 and No. 4 on Top Country Albums, debuted at No. 1 on Spotify’s global and U.S. top albums charts, reached No. 1 on Australia’s country albums chart, and made the top 10 in Canada, Australia and New Zealand. “Lean In, Kiss Me” served as the lead single. An album with this kind of streaming start keeps paying for years, which is part of why our range runs as high as $6 million.
Touring, Festivals and a 2027 Headline Run
Lefty’s live business is growing quickly but is still at club and theater size, so it adds less to her net worth than her streaming numbers might suggest. In 2026 she made pop-up appearances at Stagecoach in April, played Lollapalooza and Osheaga, and opened for Cameron Whitcomb, Myles Smith and Tucker Wetmore, whose tour ran in August and September.
Her first North American headline tour sold out within minutes in May, with second shows added in New York and Los Angeles for 13 dates in total. It starts on October 30, 2026, in San Francisco and runs through rooms such as the Fonda Theatre, Webster Hall and Lincoln Hall before ending in Chicago on November 23. In Australia, Live Nation moved her October shows to bigger rooms after the first ones sold out at once: Melbourne’s Prince Bandroom (900 capacity) and Sydney’s Metro Theatre (1,550 capacity), alongside dates at the Strummingbird festival headlined by Post Malone.
The next step is larger. Her 2027 Long Way Home Tour opens in Detroit on January 9, 2027, covers 18 cities including MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston on January 17, and closes at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom on February 20. She has also been named a headliner at Country Thunder Arizona, April 8 to 11, 2027. None of that 2027 money is counted yet. After band, crew, travel and commissions, we estimate she kept about $400,000 from live work in 2026.
The Billionaire Father Question
Much of the attention on Lefty’s finances has focused on her father, Eric Lefkofsky, co-founder of Groupon, Tempus AI and Mediaocean. Forbes figures quoted in the press this summer put his fortune between $4.8 billion and $5.9 billion. Her mother, Elizabeth Kramer Lefkofsky, is president of the Lefkofsky Family Foundation.
That wealth is not her net worth, and we do not add any of it to our estimate. There are no public details of trusts or gifts, and counting family money would make the figure a guess about her parents rather than a measure of her career. Lefty has acknowledged the “nepo baby” conversation, telling Vanity Fair that support gave her room to explore and that “I didn’t have a stopwatch.” The chart, radio and touring results above are her own.
Why Other Sites Say $2 Million
| Source | Figure | Date | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| The City Celeb | $2 million | June 2026 (undated estimate) | No method shown; predates the No. 2 peak, the country radio No. 1 and the album |
| Celebrity Net Worth | No figure for her | September 2026 | Lists her father at $5 billion |
| Net Worth Radar | $3 million | October 2026 | Bottom-up model, range $1.5 million to $6 million |
The $2 million figure is not unreasonable for where she stood in early summer, but it was published before “Boston” reached its peak, before the album, and before the headline touring began. Several sites also blur her income with her father’s fortune, which produces much larger numbers that have nothing to do with her career.
