SZA Net Worth: Luther, the Grand National Tour and a $34 Million Year

Photo Credit: Image Press Agency / Deposit Photos

SZA’s net worth is estimated at $48 million as of October 2026, built on two hit albums, a Diamond-certified No. 1 single, two major arena and stadium tours and a growing list of brand partnerships. Forbes estimated she earned $34 million in 2025, ranking her 20th among the world’s highest-paid musicians, with more than $20 million of that coming from the Grand National Tour she co-headlined with Kendrick Lamar. In February 2026 she shared Record of the Year with Lamar for “Luther.”

Published estimates for SZA differ because her biggest paydays are recent and none of her deals have public price tags. Forbes measures what she earned in a year before taxes and costs, not what she kept, and her Vans partnership and other brand work have no reported fees. The Radar Readout below shows our working: the published figure, our modeled range and how each income lane adds up to the headline number.

You vs. SZA

At $60,000 a year, it would take you 800 years to earn SZA’s estimated $48 million, before tax and without spending a cent. Her estimated 2025 earnings on Forbes' list ($34 million) equals 566.7 years of your pay.

Sources and how we estimated this

We start from what she likely kept from Ctrl, SOS and the roughly $113 million SOS Tour, after taxes, crew, commissions and spending. We add about half of the $34 million Forbes credited her with in 2025, most of it from the Grand National Tour, then conservative amounts for 2026 catalog income and her Vans partnership and other brand work, whose fees have not been reported. How SZA’s $48 Million Net Worth Is Built

We do not have a verified balance sheet for SZA, so we model her fortune from the income lanes that are reported. The central values below add up to the headline figure; the lows and highs add up to the range.

Income laneOur estimateRange
Wealth built through 2024 (Ctrl, SOS, SOS Tour)$22 million$17 million to $27 million
Kept from 2025 earnings (Forbes: $34 million)$17 million$14 million to $20 million
Kept from 2026 royalties and publishing$5 million$3 million to $8 million
Vans, brand deals and film work$4 million$2 million to $7 million
Total$48 million$36 million to $62 million

The biggest uncertainty is how much of her touring income she kept. Stadium shows carry heavy production, crew and travel costs, and a co-headline split means the gross is shared between two acts and their teams. We assume she kept about half of what Forbes says she earned in 2025, which is in line with how we treat other top-earning musicians.

Early Career, Top Dawg and Ctrl

SZA signed with Top Dawg Entertainment on July 14, 2013, becoming the label’s first female artist. She added a deal with RCA Records in April 2017, ahead of her debut studio album, Ctrl.

Ctrl arrived in 2017 and opened at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with 60,000 first-week units. It became one of the most durable albums of its era, staying on the chart for more than eight consecutive years. That kind of long tail matters for her finances: a catalog album that streams steadily year after year keeps paying royalties long after its release.

SOS, “Kill Bill” and the SOS Tour

Her second album, SOS, came out on December 9, 2022, and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 318,000 equivalent album units. It spent ten weeks at No. 1 across 2022 and 2023, was the second most-streamed album of 2023 worldwide and has been certified 8 times Platinum by the RIAA. At the 66th Grammy Awards it won Best Progressive R&B Album, and by November 2025 it had become the album with the most Grammy nominations in history, with 14.

The album’s breakout single, “Kill Bill,” was released to radio on January 10, 2023, and became her first solo No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It is now certified Diamond for 10 million units in the United States. Another single, “Snooze,” was the only song to appear on the Hot 100 every week of 2023.

The SOS Tour ran from February 2023 in Columbus, Ohio, to May 2024 in Melbourne, Australia, across 63 shows, and grossed about $113.1 million. Billboard counted $95.5 million and 674,000 tickets for the 2023 legs alone. Celebrity Net Worth estimates she took home $10 million to $15 million from the run after taxes and costs, which is consistent with our starting figure.

In December 2024 she released SOS Deluxe: Lana, a reissue with 15 extra tracks, including the singles “Saturn” and “Drive.” The reissue sent SOS back to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2025, and “Saturn” won Best R&B Song at the 67th Grammy Awards.

The Grand National Tour With Kendrick Lamar

The Grand National Tour opened at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on April 19, 2025, and closed in Sydney in December 2025. Pollstar reported a 2025 gross of $358.7 million from 1,761,880 tickets across 39 reported dates, an average of roughly $9.2 million a night, making it the No. 4 tour of the year. Billboard called it the highest-grossing co-headlining tour of all time after the North American leg wrapped.

The single biggest night came in Seattle on May 17, 2025, when 60,941 fans produced a gross of about $14.8 million, reported as a record for a hip-hop concert. Forbes estimates SZA earned more than $20 million from the tour. That is a smaller share than the gross might suggest, because the money is split with Lamar and stadium production is expensive.

She also used the tour to launch Not Beauty, a line of lip products sold at pop-up stores inside the venues. No sales figures have been published, so we count it only within our brand lane.

“Luther” and Record of the Year

“Luther,” Lamar’s duet with SZA from his album GNX, was released on November 29, 2024, and reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 on the chart dated March 1, 2025. It was her third Hot 100 No. 1 and held the top spot for 13 straight weeks, the longest run of either artist’s career.

At the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, held on February 1, 2026, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, “Luther” won Record of the Year and Best Melodic Rap Performance. SZA was also nominated for Song of the Year as one of its writers, for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “30 for 30” with Lamar, and for Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Crybaby.” As a co-writer on “Luther,” she earns songwriting royalties on top of her artist share, a lane that tends to keep paying long after a song leaves the chart.

Vans, Brand Deals and Film

In 2025, Vans announced a multi-year creative partnership naming SZA its first Artistic Director, covering creative campaigns and exclusive product collections. The value of the deal has not been reported. Celebrity Net Worth also lists campaigns with SKIMS, custom footwear with Crocs and work with Mastercard around “Saturn,” and estimates she likely earns several million dollars a year from endorsements.

She made her film debut in One of Them Days, a Sony Pictures release that opened on January 17, 2025. She co-starred with Keke Palmer as Alyssa, an aspiring artist. The film had a reported budget of $14 million and took in about $51.8 million at the box office. Her fee has not been published. She also wrote “Save the Day” for Pixar’s 2026 film Hoppers and is expected to star in CoComelon: The Movie in 2027.

Celebrity Net Worth’s $50 million already counts an estimated $15 million to $25 million take-home from the Grand National Tour, so our figure and theirs are close. We sit slightly lower because we assume a more conservative share of her touring income survived taxes, commissions and spending. Forbes’ $34 million is not a net worth figure at all; it is what she earned in one year before those costs.
