Chappell Roan’s net worth is estimated at $13 million as of October 2026, built mostly in the three years since her debut album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, turned from a slow burner into one of the biggest pop records of the decade. The Missouri-born singer won the Grammy for Best New Artist in February 2025, scored two UK number one singles that year, and spent 2025 and early 2026 playing festival stages across Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand and South America.
Published estimates for Roan range from $10 million to $12 million, and most of them trace back to the same source. None of them shows its working, and her live business changed sharply between 2024 and 2026, moving from clubs and theaters to festival main stages and large outdoor pop-up shows. The Radar Readout below compares the published figures and breaks our own estimate into the income lanes that built it.

You vs. Chappell
At $60,000 a year, it would take you 217 years to earn Chappell’s estimated $13 million, before tax and without spending a cent. Her entire reported headline box office through mid 2025 ($4.6 million) equals 76.7 years of your pay.
Sources and how we estimated this
We start from the $10 million Celebrity Net Worth figure published in 2025 and trim it for tax, spending and overlap with the 2025 shows counted separately. We then add what she most likely kept from 26 festival and standalone dates, eight U.S. pop-up shows, streaming and songwriting royalties, and brand work since late May 2025. Festival fees and pop-up grosses are not public, so those lanes carry wide ranges. How we fact-check

How Chappell Roan’s $13 Million Net Worth Is Built
There is no audited figure for Roan’s wealth, so our number is a model. We start from the most credible older estimate, trim it, and add what she most likely kept from each income lane since the spring of 2025. The central values add up to $13 million; the low and high values add up to the published range.
| Income lane | Central estimate | Range |
|---|---|---|
| Starting fortune, spring 2025 | $7.5 million | $6 million to $9.5 million |
| 2025 to 2026 festival and arena dates (kept after costs and tax) | $2.8 million | $1.5 million to $5 million |
| Fall 2025 U.S. pop-up shows (kept) | $1.2 million | $500,000 to $2.5 million |
| Recording and songwriting royalties | $1.2 million | $600,000 to $2.5 million |
| Brand deals, merch and other | $300,000 | $100,000 to $1 million |
| Total | $13 million | $8.7 million to $20.5 million |
The starting figure is below the $10 million Celebrity Net Worth published in 2025 for two reasons. Part of that estimate likely already counted early 2025 earnings, and the European festival run that began on May 30, 2025, is counted separately in our touring lane, so we trim it to avoid double counting.
The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess: The Album That Changed Everything
Roan’s path to a fortune was not quick. She signed with Atlantic Records in May 2015 after posting original songs on YouTube as a teenager, released her debut EP School Nights in 2017, and put out “Pink Pony Club” in April 2020 with producer Dan Nigro. Atlantic dropped her in August 2020 because her releases were not profitable enough for the label. She went back to odd jobs, including work at a donut shop and a drive-through, while she kept writing.
By March 2022 she had signed a publishing deal with Sony and reunited with Nigro. In March 2023 she signed with Amusement Records, a label Nigro created for her, in partnership with Island Records. The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess followed on September 22, 2023.
The album did not explode on release. It first entered the Billboard 200 top ten in June 2024, nine months later, and reached No. 2 by August 2024. It has since been certified 2x Platinum in the U.S. (June 2025) and 2x Platinum in the UK, with Platinum certifications in Canada, Denmark and New Zealand (3x) and Gold in Australia, Belgium, Brazil, France, Poland and Spain. “Hot to Go!” from the album went multi-Platinum.
For her finances, the slow burn matters. A record that keeps selling and streaming years after release pays steady royalties, and the songwriting side pays on top of the recording side. Roan co-writes most of her songs, mainly with Nigro, so she earns from both.
Good Luck, Babe! and the 2024 Breakout
The turning point came with “Good Luck, Babe!”, released in April 2024 as a standalone single. It drew 7 million streams in its first week, reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 in September 2024, and has since been certified 6x Platinum in the U.S. and 4x Platinum in the UK. It also pulled the album back up the charts.
Her live draw rose with it. Opening for Olivia Rodrigo’s Guts World Tour from February to April 2024 lifted her streams by 32 percent in her first week, and her August 2024 Lollapalooza set drew the biggest daytime crowd the festival had seen. Even so, the money from those early shows was modest. Pollstar reported that her 43 headline box office reports from 2017 to mid 2025 added up to 123,149 tickets and $4.6 million in gross, before any costs. That works out to about 2,860 tickets a show, a sign that most of the Midwest Princess Tour, which ran 94 shows from September 2023 to October 2024, played smaller rooms booked before her breakout.
Best New Artist Grammy and the 2025 Awards Run
At the 67th Grammy Awards in February 2025, Roan won Best New Artist. She was also nominated that night for Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance. In her speech she called on record labels to give artists a living wage and health care, and when former executive Jeff Rabhan criticized the speech, she challenged him to match a $25,000 donation to struggling artists.
The same season brought two Brit Awards in 2025, for Best International Artist and Best International Song (“Good Luck, Babe!”), and the BBC Sound of 2025 title. At the 68th Grammy Awards in 2026, “The Subway” was nominated for Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.
Awards do not pay directly, but they tend to raise booking fees and keep catalog streams high. The Grammy win came a few months before her 2025 festival run began.
2025 to 2026 Touring and Festival Slots
Roan’s second major run, the Visions of Damsels and Other Dangerous Things Tour, began on May 30, 2025, at Orange Warsaw Festival in Poland and ended on March 21, 2026, at Lollapalooza Brazil in São Paulo. It ran 34 shows across four legs. The structure explains much of how her net worth grew: rather than a long arena tour, she played mostly festival dates.
- Europe, summer 2025: 16 dates, including Primavera Sound in Barcelona, Øya in Oslo, Sziget in Budapest, Pukkelpop, Lowlands, Rock en Seine, Reading and Leeds, two Edinburgh Summer Sessions nights and Electric Picnic in Ireland. Her August 19 show at the Hallenstadion in Zurich, her first arena headline show, sold 12,730 tickets, according to Pollstar.
- U.S. pop-up shows, fall 2025: four nights at Forest Hills Stadium in New York, two at the Museum and Memorial Park in Kansas City, and two at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. Tickets were sold through a registration system with a four-ticket limit, and $1 from each ticket went to groups supporting trans youth.
- Mexico, November 2025: Corona Capital in Mexico City.
- Australia and New Zealand, February 2026: Laneway Festival in Auckland, followed by headline sets at Laneway on the Gold Coast and in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
- South America, March 2026: Lollapalooza Argentina, Lollapalooza Chile and Lollapalooza Brazil.
Festival fees are not published, so this is where our model is widest. We count the 26 festival and standalone dates as one lane and assume she kept roughly a third of her fees after production, crew, commissions and tax, which gives $1.5 million to $5 million. The eight pop-up shows are a separate lane because they were her own headline concerts in large outdoor venues, but grosses for them have not been reported. In June 2026 she was also announced for Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields festival in Irvine, California, on August 29.
New Singles: The Giver, The Subway and Expectations
Roan has not released a second album yet, but her singles since the Grammy have kept her catalog working. “Pink Pony Club”, first released in 2020, reached No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart in March 2025. “The Giver”, a country-leaning track she first played on Saturday Night Live in November 2024, came out on March 14, 2025.
“The Subway” followed on July 31, 2025, more than a year after she first played it at Governors Ball. It debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, her highest U.S. chart position, and went straight to No. 1 in the UK, her second UK number one of 2025. It has been certified Gold in the U.S. and Platinum in the UK.
Most recently, Roan features on a remix of Olivia Rodrigo’s “Expectations”, released with a music video on October 15, 2026. Pitchfork named it a Best New Track. Our royalty lane of $600,000 to $2.5 million covers what she most likely kept from these releases and from catalog streams and songwriting since spring 2025.
Brand Deals, Business and Giving
Brand income is the least documented part of Roan’s finances. Her best-known partnership came in February 2026, when Fortnite Festival named her the Icon for its Season 13. The terms were not disclosed, so we keep this lane small at $100,000 to $1 million, including merchandise.
She has also given money away. She donated $1 per ticket on the Midwest Princess Tour to the nonprofit For the Gworls and repeated the $1 per ticket pledge on her 2025 U.S. shows. In October 2025 she launched the Midwest Princess Project, a nonprofit that supports trans youth and wider LGBTQ+ communities. In February 2026 she left the talent agency Wasserman after its chief executive’s past links to Ghislaine Maxwell surfaced in the Epstein files.
Why Other Sites Say $10 Million to $12 Million
| Source | Figure | Date | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Celebrity Net Worth (as cited by Crónica) | $10 million | August 2025 | Published before her fall 2025 pop-ups and 2026 festival run |
| SocialLife Magazine | $10 million | January 2026 | Repeats Celebrity Net Worth and TheRichest; its income table is unsourced |
| Celebrity Net Worth | $12 million | Read October 2026 | Gives no income breakdown |
| Net Worth Radar | $13 million | October 2026 | Bottom-up model; range $8.7 million to $20.5 million |
Our figure sits a little above the published ones mainly because it counts the full 2025 to 2026 festival run and the U.S. pop-up shows, which the older estimates predate. It sits well below what a stadium act would earn, because her own reported box office through mid 2025 was only $4.6 million gross across her career.
