Pedro Pascal Net Worth 2026: How The Last of Us, Star Wars and Marvel Built His Fortune

Photo Credit: Image Press Agency / Deposit Photos

Pedro Pascal’s net worth is estimated at $24 million as of October 2026, built on a late-blooming career that turned a working character actor into the lead of three major franchises: HBO’s The Last of Us, Disney’s Star Wars and Marvel’s Fantastic Four. Most of that money has been earned since 2019, when The Mandalorian premiered, and the biggest film paydays have landed only in the last two years.

Published estimates for Pascal range from about $10 million to $30 million, mostly because the low figures were written in early 2023, before Gladiator II, The Fantastic Four: First Steps and The Mandalorian and Grogu. Studios have not confirmed his pay for any of those projects, so the Radar Readout below shows how we built our figure, lane by lane, and how it compares with other published numbers.

Confidence

Modeled estimate. His only widely cited pay figure is a 2021 report of $600,000 per episode for The Last of Us; film fees since then are unconfirmed, so this is a model.

How the published estimates compare

Published figures run from $10 million (early 2023) to $30 million (September 2026). The older numbers predate his Marvel, Gladiator II and Mandalorian film paydays.

  • Marvel: Fantastic Four and Avengers (kept)$5.5M$3.5M to $8M
  • Other films 2024 to 2025, incl. Gladiator II (kept)$4M$2M to $6M

You vs. Pedro

At $60,000 a year, it would take you 400 years to earn Pedro’s estimated $24 million, before tax and without spending a cent. One episode of The Last of Us at his reported season one fee ($600,000) equals 10.0 years of your pay.

Sources and how we estimated this

We start from the roughly $10 million figure published in early 2023, trim it slightly for tax and spending, then add what he most likely kept from each major job since. Reported or modeled fees are cut to about half for agents, managers, lawyers and tax. No studio has confirmed his pay for any project. How we fact-check

How Pedro Pascal’s $24 Million Net Worth Is Built

Because there is no verified figure, we use a bottom-up model. Each lane below is what we think he kept after agents, managers, lawyers and tax, not his gross pay.

LaneCentral estimateRange
Starting fortune, early 2023 (trimmed for tax and spending)$9 million$8 million to $10 million
Marvel: The Fantastic Four: First Steps and Avengers work$5.5 million$3.5 million to $8 million
Other films 2024 to 2025, including Gladiator II$4 million$2 million to $6 million
The Mandalorian season 3 and The Mandalorian and Grogu$3.4 million$1.5 million to $5 million
The Last of Us season 2$2.1 million$1.5 million to $3 million
Total$24 million$16.5 million to $32 million

The starting point is the $10 million figure that Celebrity Net Worth and others published in early 2023, the year The Last of Us first aired. We trim it to $9 million to allow for tax, living costs and the fact that some of that pay had not yet been fully collected.

The Last of Us Salary: $600,000 Per Episode

The most widely repeated number in Pascal’s career is his fee for playing Joel Miller in HBO’s The Last of Us. In August 2021, ComicBook.com, citing Variety, reported that he would earn $600,000 an episode, or about $6 million across a planned 10-episode season. Celebrity Net Worth notes that nine episodes aired, which would put season one at about $5.4 million, and adds that his exact guaranteed pay was never confirmed.

Season two ran for seven episodes on HBO from April 13 to May 25, 2025. His pay for that season has not been disclosed by HBO or a major trade outlet. One 2026 roundup says his rate stayed at $600,000, but we could not trace that claim to a primary report, so we model season two as a range. At $600,000 an episode, seven episodes would gross $4.2 million, and keeping about half of that gives our $2.1 million central value.

The role has also delivered most of his awards. Pascal won the Screen Actors Guild award for male actor in a drama series in 2024, earned a Golden Globe nomination that year, and has two Emmy nominations for lead actor in a drama series for the show, in 2023 and 2025. HBO renewed the series for a third season on April 9, 2025. NME reported in July 2025 that HBO chief Casey Bloys expected new episodes in 2027, and Pascal’s return as Joel had not been confirmed.

The Mandalorian and The Mandalorian and Grogu

Pascal has played Din Djarin, the helmeted bounty hunter at the center of The Mandalorian, since the series launched on Disney+ in 2019. Unlike The Last of Us, his Star Wars pay has never been reported by a major outlet. Some sites repeat figures attributed to industry insiders or give no source at all, so we leave those numbers out.

The character moved to the big screen in The Mandalorian and Grogu, which opened in the United States on May 22, 2026. The film had a reported production budget of $165 million, took $98.1 million over its four-day opening weekend and finished with $345.8 million worldwide, including $177.7 million in the United States and Canada. It arrived on Disney+ on September 2, 2026. For season three of the series and the film together, we model about $3.4 million kept, with a wide $1.5 million to $5 million range because no figure has been published.

Fantastic Four: First Steps and the Marvel Paycheck

Marvel announced Pascal as Reed Richards, also known as Mister Fantastic, on February 14, 2024. According to the film’s production history, he was director Matt Shakman’s choice in part because the two had worked together before, and the role’s schedule led him to drop out of the film Weapons.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps opened in the United States on July 25, 2025. It earned $521.9 million worldwide against a reported net budget of $181 million, making it the highest-grossing film of his career.

How much he was paid is less clear. Several outlets, including Fiction Horizon, reported a fee of around $10 million, but their source was a post by the social media account Wealth rather than a studio or trade report. We treat it as a plausible upper marker, not a fact. He is also slated to return as Reed Richards in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, which adds future earning power. Our Marvel lane keeps $5.5 million, with a $3.5 million to $8 million range.

Gladiator II and a Busy Film Slate

Between 2024 and 2025, Pascal took on more film work than at any other point in his career. In Gladiator II he played Acacius, a Roman general who trained under Maximus. The film opened in the United States on November 22, 2024, and grossed $462.2 million worldwide on a reported net budget of $210 million.

He also voiced Fink in The Wild Robot (2024), appeared in Freaky Tales (2024) and had roles in Materialists and Eddington in 2025. One 2026 net worth article puts his Gladiator II fee at $5 million but cites no source, so we do not use it. For this whole group of films we model $4 million kept, with a range of $2 million to $6 million.

Further projects are lined up. Wikipedia lists Todd Haynes’s De Noche and the lead in Tony Gilroy’s thriller Behemoth! among his upcoming work.

From Asylum to Leading Man

Pascal’s story explains why his wealth arrived late. He was born in Santiago on April 2, 1975. His parents opposed the Pinochet government, and the family sheltered in the Venezuelan embassy for months before leaving Chile when he was a baby. They received asylum in Denmark and then settled in the United States, first in San Antonio, Texas, and later in Orange County, California.

He graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in 1997 and spent nearly two decades in guest roles on shows such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, NYPD Blue, The Good Wife and Homeland. Celebrity Net Worth recounts that his friend Sarah Paulson once shared her per diem money so he could afford to eat. His breakout came in 2014 as Oberyn Martell in Game of Thrones, followed by Javier Peña in Netflix’s Narcos and supporting film roles in Kingsman: The Golden Circle, The Equalizer 2 and Wonder Woman 1984.

The gap is mostly about timing. The $10 million figures were written before his biggest film jobs. Celebrity Net Worth’s $30 million sits inside our range but toward the top, which would require his Marvel and Star Wars fees to be at the higher end of what has been rumored.
