Hailey Bieber’s net worth is estimated at $310 million as of October 2026, a fortune built mostly on Rhode, the skincare brand she launched in June 2022 and sold to e.l.f. Beauty in a deal worth up to $1 billion. Before Rhode she was a working fashion model signed to IMG Models, with campaigns for brands such as Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Guess and Levi’s, and a co-host of the TBS show Drop the Mic.
Estimates for her vary because the most important number is still private: how much of Rhode she owned. e.l.f. published the price and structure of the deal, but neither the company nor Bieber has disclosed her stake, and Rhode had two co-founders plus outside investors. The Radar Readout below shows the published figures, the stake we assume and how each piece adds up. Her husband Justin Bieber’s music fortune is not counted here; it has its own profile.

You vs. Hailey
At $60,000 a year, it would take you 5,167 years to earn Hailey’s estimated $310 million, before tax and without spending a cent. e.l.f.'s cash payment for Rhode at closing ($600 million) equals 10,000.0 years of your pay.
Sources and how we estimated this
No one has published Hailey Bieber's ownership share of Rhode. We take e.l.f. Beauty's disclosed terms ($600 million cash and $200 million stock at closing, plus up to $200 million in earnouts), assume she held about half of Rhode (35 to 65 percent for the range) and keep about 62 percent after the roughly 38 percent capital gains rate Celebrity Net Worth applies. The earnout is discounted because it depends on Rhode hitting growth targets through 2028, and her pre Rhode career and her share of property are added conservatively. How we fact-check

How Hailey Bieber’s $310 Million Net Worth Is Built
Because her stake is undisclosed, we build the figure from the deal terms rather than copying another site. The central case assumes she owned about half of Rhode. The low end assumes 35 percent and the high end 65 percent.
| Lane | Central value | Range |
|---|---|---|
| Her share of Rhode’s $800 million closing payment, after tax | $250 million | $170 million to $320 million |
| Her share of the up to $200 million earnout, risk adjusted | $30 million | $0 to $80 million |
| Modeling, TV, endorsements and her share of homes | $30 million | $15 million to $50 million |
| Total | $310 million | $185 million to $450 million |
The tax step uses a combined long-term capital gains rate of roughly 38 percent, the same assumption Celebrity Net Worth applies to her sale, so she keeps about 62 cents of each dollar. At a 50 percent stake, $400 million of the closing payment would be hers before tax and about $250 million after. Part of that payment came as e.l.f. shares rather than cash, so its value moves with e.l.f.’s stock price, and we value it at the deal price.
Rhode: From Launch to a $1 Billion Sale
Rhode launched on June 15, 2022, with three products and a direct-to-consumer model. The name is her middle name; Wikipedia notes she turned to it after an application to trademark “Bieber Beauty” was rejected because Justin Bieber had already registered the name in 2010. She co-founded the company with Michael D. Ratner and Lauren Ratner, and Wikipedia, citing Vogue Business, says she was the brand’s main funder, with investment firm One Luxury Group as a strategic partner.
The brand grew quickly. Rhode passed $10 million in sales within 11 days of launch, according to Wikipedia’s summary of launch coverage, and by the 12 months ended March 31, 2025 its net sales had reached $212 million. Forbes noted in 2023, when it named her to its 30 Under 30 Art and Style list, that her $29 peptide glazing fluid had built a waitlist of about 700,000 names.
The e.l.f. Beauty deal terms
On May 28, 2025, e.l.f. Beauty announced a definitive agreement to buy Rhode for up to $1 billion. According to e.l.f.’s own press release, the closing payment was $800 million, subject to customary adjustments, made up of $600 million in cash funded by committed debt and $200 million in newly issued e.l.f. stock, about 2.6 million shares, paid to Rhode’s existing equity holders. Up to $200 million more is payable as an earnout tied to Rhode’s growth over the three years after closing.
e.l.f. said the closing price was about 3.8 times Rhode’s trailing net sales. Shares issued to the founders and certain key employees are locked up and released over one year. Cosmetics Business reported that the acquisition closed on August 5, 2025.
What she kept, and what nobody has confirmed
No outlet we read has confirmed her ownership percentage. Forbes pointed out that her two co-founders and at least two reported outside investors likely hold stakes, and concluded she almost certainly would not become a billionaire from the sale but could walk away with nine figures depending on her stake. Celebrity Net Worth guesses she owned 50 to 70 percent. We use a slightly wider and lower band, 35 to 65 percent, because the co-founders and investors have to be paid from the same pot.
The earnout is the least certain lane. It only pays if Rhode hits growth targets over three years, so we count about a third of her potential share in the central case and allow for nothing at the low end.
Her Role at Rhode After the Sale
Selling Rhode did not end her involvement. Under the deal she stayed on as Founder and added the titles of Chief Creative Officer and Head of Innovation, running creative, product development and marketing, and she also serves as a strategic advisor to e.l.f. more broadly. The Ratners and chief executive Nick Vlahos were expected to keep leading the brand day to day.
e.l.f. has moved quickly to widen Rhode’s reach. The brand had sold only through its own website before the deal, then launched in Sephora stores across the United States and Canada on September 4, 2025. strategy+business reported in November 2025 that Rhode was already adding to e.l.f.’s profits and that about a fifth of its business was international. e.l.f. also lined up a Sephora Europe expansion for 2026, and in April 2026 Rhode released a Rhode x The Biebers collaboration with her husband. Her salary and any equity grants from e.l.f. for these roles have not been disclosed, so we do not add them.
Modeling, TV and Earlier Income
Hailey, the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin and Brazilian graphic designer Kennya Deodato, built her first career in modeling. Her first agency was Ford Models, her first commercial job was a French Connection campaign in winter 2014, and she signed with IMG Models in March 2016. Her campaign list grew to include Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Guess, UGG, H&M, Levi’s in 2019 and bareMinerals in 2018, plus runway work for Topshop, Moschino, Dolce and Gabbana and Elie Saab.
In May 2017 she began co-hosting Drop the Mic, a TBS celebrity rap battle show, alongside Method Man, and two seasons aired. She also had early product collaborations, including a ModelCo makeup line announced in 2016 and capsules with The Daily Edited and Public Desire.
None of these earnings has been published, so this lane is a conservative estimate. Even a strong decade of campaign work would be small next to Rhode, which is why her fortune jumped once the brand was sold.
Real Estate
Celebrity Net Worth lists several property deals in her history: an $8.5 million Beverly Hills home bought in March 2019 and sold in 2021 for $7.995 million, a $28.5 million mansion in the gated Beverly Park community bought in August 2020, a lakeside home in Ontario valued at about $5 million, and a $12 million West Village condo in New York bought in July 2026. Ownership between her and Justin Bieber is not split out in what we read, so we count only a modest share of this property toward her fortune and leave the rest to his profile.
Why Other Sites Say $300 Million
| Source | Figure | Date | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Celebrity Net Worth | $300 million | Jul 2026 | Headline figure on its profile |
| Celebrity Net Worth sale math | $309 million to $433 million | Jul 2026 | After-tax Rhode proceeds at a 50 to 70 percent stake, assuming the full earnout pays |
| Forbes | “Nine figures” possible | May 2025 | No net worth figure; says it depends on her undisclosed stake |
| Net Worth Radar | $310 million | Oct 2026 | Modeled: 35 to 65 percent stake, earnout discounted |
Our central figure lands close to Celebrity Net Worth’s headline. The difference is in the reasoning: its after-tax sale math alone runs higher than its own headline because it assumes the whole $200 million earnout is paid, while we discount the earnout and allow for a smaller stake. If e.l.f. or Bieber ever disclose her ownership, the range will narrow sharply.
