10% Of Stallone’s Net Worth Came From The Expendables

While Sylvester Stallone has starred in some huge franchises, including the Rocky and Rambo movies, it has been the success of The Expendables franchise in recent years that has added a huge chunk of the actor’s net worth.

Sylvester Stallone’s net worth increased by $16 million per film in the first three movies. At his current net worth, that means 10% of his earned income has come from just three movies in which his on-screen time was shared with many of Hollywood’s other big action stars.

Total Earnings $306.1 Million

One figure you won’t see on this list is the missed opportunity that Sylvester Stallone had been offered following the release of Judge Dredd. Despite the movie costing $100 million to produce and earning just $113 million at the global box office, Univeral Pictures offered Stallone a three-picture deal.

The deal from Universal Pictures would have paid Stallone $20 million per film; however, that deal expired without a single project being completed. For the record, Jim Carrey was the first actor to earn $20 million for a single movie when The Cable Guy was released in 1995.

Sylvester Stallone’s net worth certainly wasn’t hurt by the expiration of the movie deal, as we went on to earn at least another $132 million after the release of Judge Dredd.

Sylvester Stallone spent several decades living in an opulent 20,000-square-foot home in Beverly Park in Beverly Hills. Stallone’s property sits on 3.5 acres and resides in the same neighborhood where Mark Wahlberg, Denzel Washington, and other famous actors live. Stallone attempted to sell his long-time home in January 2021 for $130 million. In August 2021, he placed the home on the market for a much lower cost of $85 million. Finally, in 2021 he sold the home to singer Adele for $58 million.

Stallone also owned a vacation home in La Quinta, California which he bought in January 2010 for $4.5 million. In May 2020, he sold the home for $3.1 million, taking a $1.4 million loss on the property.

In December 2020, Sylvester Stallone and his wife, Jennifer Flavin, purchased a home in Palm Beach, Florida, for $35.4 million. The home was purchased by its previous owner in 2018 for just $26 million.

Finally, in February 2022, Stallone purchased a Hidden Hills, California property that sits on 2.26 acres. The home in California cost $18.2 million.

While Stallone’s real estate has likely hurt his net worth more than helped it, the fact that he owns more than $50 million in property showcases the massive amount of money he has earned during his career.
